Well, that was surprising!
On the hangout last night, Ron Douglas revealed that he was actually fired from his job when he started his receipe ebook empire.
I was under the impression he simple "left" his job.
Although, you do have to "leave" when you're fired, eh... =)
Anyway, Ron shared how he took his passion for restraurant recipes and a refurbished computer to a massive 140k+ list, becoming a NY Times Best Selling Author, and did over 7 figures.
I think the best part was when he answered specific questions from attendees about list building, traffic, most profitable niches, and how to get paid to write.
