According to Google there will be an update on April 21st and they indicated that this update will have more impact on your sites then Panda or Penguin.
The update is all about the requirement to have a mobile responsive site. Google has hinted in the past 2 years that having a mobile responsive site is very important because of the increase of mobile users.
On April 21st Google will roll out that update that will cause a major impact if you do not comply to the mobile responsive requirement.
But what if you like your theme and spend hours to tweak your current layout but have a non mobile responsive site right now...should you throw all that hard work out of the window?
My friend Edwin Boiten ran into that same situation and as he is a developer of Wordpress plugins and themes he created a super fast and easy solution. It's called WP Mobile Pro and by using this software you can create a mobile responsive site in 5 seconds without the need to change your main layout. For desktop users you keep the current theme and only for mobile users there will be an optimized theme for mobile to make sure you comply to the Google update.
Check it Out What ever you do, make sure you have a mobile responsive site before April 21st as Google normally does not warn about their updates before. But because they themselves know this will have a major impact they changed their normal policy and have told about this update at the SMX conference in Munich at March 18th and on their official blog. So this is not a marketing trick from Edwin to scare you and sell you a product.
Check it Out To your success,
Heri
